The Kearney High School Varsity Football team seniors took some time today, Nov. 14, to celebrate the teachers who have helped them achieve success over their years in Kearney School District.

The senior football players reflected on their time at KSD and wanted to honor their favorite faculty member with a "Thank A Teacher" ceremony as part of an all-school assembly in the lead-up to their home playoff match-up at 7 p.m. tonight versus Savannah. Each player gave their favorite teacher a sweatshirt, complete with the player's name and number, as well as a certificate stating why they chose that person as their favorite educator.
