About Dr. Amy Baugh

Dr. Amy Baugh is entering her fourth year as Principal of Kearney Early Education Center. This role marks a special return to the Kearney School District, where she first began her career in education—and where she met her husband A.J., a P.E. teacher in a neighboring district.

With a doctorate in Leadership and Learning, Dr. Baugh taught special education for ten years and later served as a Process Coordinator before moving into school leadership. 

She and her husband stay busy coaching and cheering on their two active kids in a variety of sports and activities. Dr. Baugh is proud to serve the families of Kearney through fostering a nurturing, engaging environment where young learners can thrive.
